Andrew Galasetti – Founder & Editor

In early December 2007, Andrew faced another “failure” when a web venture he had been working on went bust. He was down, but certainly not out. Andrew quickly picked himself up and moved on. He knew he wanted to do something that would leave a major impact on as many people as possible. A few weeks later, Lyved was born.

Andrew is no stranger to struggles and triumphs. He had a much too common beginning in life. His father deserted his family, leaving Andrew’s mother to solely support him and his sister. His mother worked hard to give them a stable life. After many years of seeing her struggling to make ends meet Andrew knew it was time for big change in their lives. He wanted to achieve a level of success that would enable him to provide a happier life for his family with more freedom. Andrew saw entrepreneurialism as a way to do this.

At fourteen, Andrew began inventing and launching small business ventures. Most “failed” but Andrew acquired more knowledge with each stumble. He did this for many years, launching everything from a search engine to a bottled water company. It wasn’t until the launch of Lyved at age nineteen, that Andrew got his first real taste of success.

Even though he’s been through many difficult situations, Andrew wouldn’t change a thing. He believes triumphs don’t happen without adversity and Lyved wouldn’t exist if his life didn’t start the way it did.

Andrew is happy with what he has achieved with Lyved so far but he also wants to tackle many more goals. Here is what he has laid out for the future of Lyved:

- Make Lyved one of the Top 100 Blogs on Technorati

- Increase readership to at least 1 million unique individuals a month.

- Have Lyved, our articles, and our opinions featured in magazines, newspapers, and on television.

- Turn Lyved into a platform where high profile and low profile people of the world can share and discuss whatever is on their minds.

- Turn Lyved into a full time business.

- Raise awareness for important causes.

- Change the world even more.
