Envision Your Success

The best way to get closer to your goals and success is to envision them. You need to know where you want to go so that you can plan accordingly. It’s also beneficial for you to envision your goals to see if they are truly right for you. Visualize yourself driving in that brand new car or walking into your new home. Envision yourself relaxing on a white sandy beach or spending more time with your family.

This visualization will motivate you unlike anything else. You’ll be even more eager to make your success real and your dreams tangible. Just close your eyes and dream the future now.

How to exercise your brain

The brain is extremely powerful and something that you should harness and sharpen for peak performance. It controls everything in your life and you control it.

Some of the suggestions below you may already be doing but are you doing them everyday?

Read Books

Read about anything you like, whether it be fiction, reference, or success stories. And take your time while reading a book. What’s the point of rushing? Take it slow and absorb the information on the pages.

Read Online

There’s way more than enough reading materials on the internet to satisfy your appetite. Read blogs, news, forums, and whatever else is out there. If you have trouble reading on a computer screen, print it out.

Write

Write a journal, start writing a novel, write poetry, or write on the internet in forums, on blogs, or on social networks. And don’t just write two or three words, write whole paragraphs. Express yourself!

Watch TV

Most people think that TV destroys the brain but nothing could be further from the truth. It all depends on what you’re watching. Obviously most reality shows are going to do you any good but there’s plenty of alternatives. Watch Discovery, The History Channel, Animal Planet, or business channels. You have control over what you watch so it’s your fault if TV has destroyed your brain.

Take a Walk

Free yourself from the indoors. See, smell, and hear the environment around you. All your senses and your brain will be working.

Take a Drive

If you don’t want to take a walk, take a drive.

Question Things

Wonder how things work, why they exist, and try to find the answers to your questions. Look up the answer in books, online, ask someone, or if no one knows it, answer it yourself.

Our lives are not determined…

“Our lives are not determined by what happens to us but by how we react to what happens, not by what life brings to us, but by the attitude we bring to life. A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events, and outcomes. It is a catalyst, a spark that creates extraordinary results.”

Update

It has been a week since Lyved launched on December 31st. But in that week many exciting things have happened.

First, I was a guest blogger on John Chow Dot Com. The post was entitled The Greatest Things About Life, which can be viewed here.

After that, the 20 Ways to Change the World article was submitted to Digg and was promoted to the homepage. It received many diggs and can be viewed here.

At this same time, 20 Ways to Change the World was stumbled on Stumble Upon, which you can see by clicking here.

Then, most recently I was informed that Lyved won second prize in a contest I participated in. The contest was held by the JollyJo second comings blog. The announcement can be read here and if you would like to read some of the great posts on JollyJo, please visit here.

I just want to thank all of you for reading Lyved and I hope you continue to enjoy it!

- Andrew
