One of the biggest reasons why the economy is having many troubles is because of people’s negative attitudes. Yes, the troubles are mainly caused by the mortgage mess and banking and investment firms, but negativity causes fear. It spreads like a viscous virus through the country and the world, urging people to pull out of the market and tricking millions more to put off their dreams or totally destroy them.
I know that you’re not like and that you not only want to stay positive and hold onto your dreams, but you want to make them a reality even during these times. To do this you need to break free from the negative thoughts that are surrounding you everywhere you go, even in your own house. This is your survival kit to this economic negativity.

Thanks for the links, Andrew! These are great. I will definitely be adding some of them to my daily reading or things to read/watch. I also like reading Stepcase Lifehack – http://www.lifehack.org – for tips on everything imaginable and to keep motivated and productive.
Awesome list of resources here…I agree with including Gary Vaynerchuk also. I’m a big fan of his. I disagree that negativity is the problem with our economy. Negativity is unfortunately called for on occasion. Like when a turtle retreats into it’s shell…he can’t go anywhere that way, but it can also keep him alive.
My blog is about prosperity in these conditions, but I believe it’s just not necessary to think things are OK in order to prosper. Things are NOT OK, and we need to find ways to create value for others anyway.
Hey Tom – Glad you found some great new links! LifeHack is a great site as well.
Hey Christian – Gary V is a great guy. I’ll definitely be watching him.
I also don’t think negativity is the ONLY problem, but it’s certainly a big one.
