One of the best ways to get things done is to just stop.
If you’ve been working hard on something you need to take a break. Go for a walk, take a nap, watch TV, or just relax.
If you can, do this for at least five minutes a day. Your mind will be cleared. When you get back to work you’ll be more motivated than ever. And especially take a break when you’re stuck on something. Walk away from the situation for a moment and then come back.
It’s simple but incredibly effective.

This is so true. Sometimes at work, I get bogged down with meetings and a project, and it is amazing what a quick break will do.
Another thing is if you have a wireless headset where you work, use it and walk around while on calls. It gets the brain flowing better, and it livens the call up a bit.
