Great, so instead of anything resembling real "change", we're going to get yet another celeb poser who promises you idiots the world, then screws you as soon as they're elected. If McBama's voting record in Congress is any indication, you can expect the same war, debt, and police state shenanigans from this moron as you've been getting from Bush, just under a different mascot. Voting for a President because they've reached celebrity status is what we Americans are good at, and why we keep getting screwed. Cognitive dissonance will prevent you from admitting your mistake after the fact, just as it has the Republicans over the last 8 years, so of course you'll stand by your man. Can't admit to being wrong, can we?

Pretty nice article. I'd add that the other countries follow the US election this years because they want to know if they have to get their monye out or in off the country. Sorry, but let's put another 4-8 years of the Bush-McCain management style and your country will go straight to bankruptcy. Lot of economist know that you are in a downward spiral and lot of countries are tired of the republican "Johnny got a gun" foreing policy. Electing another could REALLY drop your country in an abysmal trouble if Japan, China or Oil producers decided to request their money back (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_public_debt)

@Troon
NCLB would be good IF there was enough teacher to actually support it. The problem is there is NOT enough folks to actually reach everyone. By adding more and more people under the same teacher you do increase the amount of people educated, but you lower everyone education. This lead to an overall LOST in education, not a gain. That is why it's a bad thing. 1) Form more teachers 2) think about teaching. Not the inverse.

Washington is a perfect example for why NCLB should be rescinded immediately. Clearly, our teachers no longer have the capacity to instruct students that language has the power to counteract the excellent message Washington was trying to convey.
