Human Reaction

It’s interesting how different people react to different situations. Some react to a tragic event simply as that, something that has ruined their life, while others find reasoning and opportunity after an event like this.

You can change your whole life and your ability to achieve success just by the way you react to positive or negative events that come into your life. React positive to a negative event and you will instantly see positive results.

It’s simple but not many people follow this rule. Why would you react negatively to a negative event? It will only bring more negative events and thoughts into your life.

You can also easily change the way someone else will react to a situation. If it’s an event that would normally make you and the other person angry, react the opposite way. React positive, happy, even make it a funny event. The other person will follow your demeanor, whether it’s negative or positive. So make it positive.

How to exercise your brain

The brain is extremely powerful and something that you should harness and sharpen for peak performance. It controls everything in your life and you control it.

Some of the suggestions below you may already be doing but are you doing them everyday?

Read Books

Read about anything you like, whether it be fiction, reference, or success stories. And take your time while reading a book. What’s the point of rushing? Take it slow and absorb the information on the pages.

Read Online

There’s way more than enough reading materials on the internet to satisfy your appetite. Read blogs, news, forums, and whatever else is out there. If you have trouble reading on a computer screen, print it out.

Write

Write a journal, start writing a novel, write poetry, or write on the internet in forums, on blogs, or on social networks. And don’t just write two or three words, write whole paragraphs. Express yourself!

Watch TV

Most people think that TV destroys the brain but nothing could be further from the truth. It all depends on what you’re watching. Obviously most reality shows are going to do you any good but there’s plenty of alternatives. Watch Discovery, The History Channel, Animal Planet, or business channels. You have control over what you watch so it’s your fault if TV has destroyed your brain.

Take a Walk

Free yourself from the indoors. See, smell, and hear the environment around you. All your senses and your brain will be working.

Take a Drive

If you don’t want to take a walk, take a drive.

Question Things

Wonder how things work, why they exist, and try to find the answers to your questions. Look up the answer in books, online, ask someone, or if no one knows it, answer it yourself.
