  1. Sad and happy at the same time!

  2. Andrew Galasetti says:

I know. It’s so, so sad that he had to die. But he did change the world, even when he was stuck in bed. That shows to everyone else that is able bodied, there are NO excuses.

  3. Being involved with hundreds of kids over the years, he showed more maturity and heart in this video than kids I have known for 10 years. A reminder that even the young know what is really important in life and how to put things in perspective. We should all live like Brenden at least five minutes per day every day, that would be the best way to honor him.

    Hey autopeter,

His maturity was remarkable. It frustrates me so much when I see older “mature” people whining about the stupidest things. Brenden showed so much strength and hardly complained. And when he was sad, he was sad for OTHERS!

We really can’t forget about him.

  5. Incredible! As a man who feels sorry for himself for not having a job, I feel ashamed after watching the courage this boy displayed. I am honored to have heard of him and because of this, I feel as if I know him. Brenden will leave a legacy because as long as one person remembers, he will live on. I think he will be remembered for generations to come. I myself will remember him because anytime I need to feel humbled, I will remember Brenden. He may have been eleven, but he had the wisdom of a sage, philosopher, and holy man wrapped in one. God bless you Brenden and relax knowing you made a difference

I’m so glad Brenden’s video helped out things in perspective for you! It’s so sad he had to pass away, but they are millions of people who took away the same message as you Fazal.

    Thanks for commenting.

  7. Dudley Middle school 7th grade says:

Our class was amazed when we saw this video because a person two years younger than us can make such a difference. We will try our best to honor his memory and dreams. Thank you Brenden!

  8. Andrew Galasetti says:

    That’s so great to hear!

Anyone can make a difference, no matter what age, how much money they have, or where they live.

  9. Kenny Phung says:

    Wow this kid is amazing

  10. Andrew Galasetti says:

He really was Kenny. So sad he couldn’t win the battle, but he did win the war.
