I didn't acomplish all, but a few. I divorced my husband after 19 years, took the kids all over Europe in the summer, went to one of my daughters ballet recitals finally! We bought a puppy for my son as a graduation present, got my son into a very good university to study medicine, and last but not least We moved from New York to Florida.

Hey Glenda,

I love SMART goals! I think being specific is very crucial to accomplishing a goal.

Andrew, one thing I try to do is to set SMART goals - specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time-tagged. Sometimes that helps. Other times goals need to be prioritized; some are no longer important with the passing of times.

Good luck.

Not every single goal I set for Lyved and for myself has been accomplished yet. Most I didn't except to achieve for about 2 years anyway.

I think 2008 was more of a experimental stage where I was laying down a foundation to which to build upon in 2009.

One goal that I did accomplish I thought was going to take years. That is changing lives. I know I've changed more than a few lives of the readers of this site and I know I've changed my own life. I also think that when lives are changed or even one, the world is changed. So perhaps I've also changed the world just a little.

So here's to 2009! Time for me to reevaluate my to-do list.

Please share what you have or haven't accomplished yet. We can all encourage each other and give each other a little positive pressure.
